*My Little Trip Around Europe*

Frankfurt - 23rd May 2006

My first stop... Frankfurt. Actually, I think I shall start on the 22nd night cause we reached Frankfurt Hahn airport at that time. Or then again, maybe I should start from Tampere. Cause we actually rushed to get onto the bus to Tampere airport and forgot to take out money!! uhoh... yup, we had no money. And there was no bloody atm machine at Tampere airport.. what the heck.. airport no atm machine!! arghh, so we got like stuck with I think around €20 each!! shit man.. But no choice ah, no turning back, no choice gotta withdraw hopefully in frankfurt lo.

Super lucky lo, Frankfurt Hahn got atm machine!! wahahaha.. withdrew €500 =p (hey..must pay for accomodation also ok..)

Well, anyway, after getting our money we then decided where to go tmr.. (haha, super last minute right, now then plan where to go tmr) We wanted to go Cologne, cause it looks super nice (consulted travelguide books at the souvenier shops..hee) BUT, the bus trip there takes too long, so we figured we wouldn't have enough time to get there and come back and sightsee... No choice, we decided to go Frankfurt main.

Soooooo.... 23rd of May, early early in the morning, we took the 6.15am bus to frankfurt main. Reached there around 8am. Well we walked up to the business district, to look at beethoven's monument, then we wanted to go to the Duomo (church) But dunno how we walk la, walk until we got no idea where we are, and we got no proper map, just some lousy printed copy off the web AND we were carrying our heavy backpacks. So we kinda started observing the tram system and notice ppl getting on 'without paying'.... and with that, we hopped on tram 11 for 5 to 6 stops before we reached the Duomo!!! yea!! haha

Hmmm, yea, then later in the day, we needed to go toilet... how le.. want to go toilet but don't want to pay... haha.. (cheapo right =p) So we tried going into a hotel... went into the Inter-Continental Hotel. Once we stepped in, the receptionist desk was like right in front, can't avoid them. They asked us how can they help us... and we said... 'how much is a single room?' hahahahaha The guy checked and said its... €219! wohohoho.. Then we said thanx n ran off... so in the end.. STILL NO TOILET!! arghhh.

And so we ran off to the train station in hope of searching the white porcelain bowl. No luck, all must pay, and can't wait for ppl to come out then we can run in because there's a kind of gate like thing.. dunno how to explain la.. just die die must pay.. so.. no choice lo, cannot answer nature's call, wait till we reach airport then use lo. So we just slacked around at the train station and getting bored. oh oh oh!!! we ate........PORK KNUCKLES!!! wahahaha.. damn damn damn damn super super fattening.. all the fat n grease.. urghhh.. €3.60 for one.. we shared..

We just waited till 5pm for the bus to get back to the airport. Reached airport around 7pm. And took the flight to our next destination.. Milan!

Conclusion??? Frankfurt Main arh.. nothing much to see like that. We walk around with our heavy backpacks and rest so much and can still get bored n slack around at the train station..haha.. Ok la.. it's a nice place la, but i think everywhere in europe is a nice place =)
