Our final day in Rome... Booooooooo

Haha, anyway, we begin our day early in the morning at 7am!!! Why must wake up so early? Because The STUPID Vatican Museum is SUPER crowded with people..

The museum opens at 9am in the morning... we reached there around 8am.. one hour earlier... and the queue was already round two corners!!!!!! It IS FREAKIN A LOT OF PPL!!

But ok la.. we actually only waited for 1h 30mins like that... we got in by 9.30am, cause i think they opened the doors earlier.

I shall not talk abt all the art pieces in the vatican.. cause i'm not much of an art lover also.. But it really is quite a cool museum... we stayed there until 1.30pm to 2pm... which is like 4 hours inside... and somemore we dunno how to appreciate art... can you imagine those who CAN appreciate art... how long are they going to spend staring at one painting... and how long they're going to take to go thru the whole museum... I think one day is really not enough for them.

The most amazing thing in the museum is really the Sistine chapel.. This you HAVE to really see for yourself as i can't think of any word to describe its awe... It totally, utterly, superbly amazing.. yes... amazing amazing amazing...

This is the ceiling of the Sistine chapel.. It took michelangelo 4 years to completely paint this ceiling!! Can you imagine him lying on his back everyday for 4 years painting this awesome ceiling!! he really crazy ah..dunno whether he got backache or not.. =p

ok.. so we left the museum and went to the train station to get train tickets to florence. Then we went to the library.. (Yes, we went to the LIBRARY..haha) to go and see if we could use free internet...haha..but cannot..need some funny pass to go into the library..

Then we just walked around buying souveniers (squid pasta n wine pasta) and going to the supermarket to stock up on food...

Then we wanted to go to Giancola hill to take night shots n see the sunset... But guess what... we couldn't find a pathway to walk up the hill!!! it was like surrounded with a wall n thick hedges n trees... so we gave up n just walk straight back to the Basilica to get night shots..

We met some wierd guy.. who keep asking us to take off our shoes n walk barefooted on the ground... he say its very nice n cooling.. we didnt do it of course.. and ran off... but he followed us and keep persuading us to do it... but we keep saying dun wan.. then he just say nvm n left... a little wierd huh..haha

ok.. It was quite late then.. and we wanted to take a metro back.. (feet tired mah) but guess wat!!! the metro station is closed!!! wth wth wth!!!

but lucky got bus... got night bus in place of the metro, so we still got back safely..haha.. (metro n bus we never pay...haha..)

And that is the end of our Rome excursion... next morning woke up at 5am n took the train to florence (firenze)...

*Note* Nobody checked our tickets for this train ride (train was rather full)
