Paris - 4th June 2006
We saw a marching band competition today... "Battle of the marching bands" in a park nearby notre dame. The outfits are so so so so cuteeeee...
Went to the conceirge
Then to pompidou museum which is free!!! I love free stuff
The museum is filled with all those funny movies and abstract art and stuff.. which just looks mighty cool to me, but i don't really understand it.. haha
And outside the pompidou, there are street performers.. really really entertaining, watched an interesting magic show there.. hee
Next stop, D'orsay (super long queue as expected). Just a whole bunch of Van Gogh's paintings and Whistlers work.. those are basically the only famous 2 artists i know.. haha
We needed water badly.. but guess what, the supermarket is CLOSED on SUNDAYS!!!!! Champion supermarket was the name... So we had to settle for some shop selling crepes and sandwiches which sold a 1litre bottle of mineral water for 2.20 euros!!!!! Super duper daylight robbery lar...
yar well, after that we just basically went back to the louvre and eiffel tower again cause wanted to take some pictures.. nothing much also.. haiz.. I guess we are starting to get tired.. This trip is getting more and more tiring..
And.. here are some sights near the Louvre... well, not exactly near also for some..
