walked down Unter den linden to Bradenburg Tor...




There's this free walking tour near Bradenburg Tor's starbucks. It's totally awesome and very informative. Super super good. Basically brought us to all the great attractions with all the insightful history. They work on tips, tat's why it's free.. =)


After the tour, we went to the TV tower and Alexander's place

Took metro to Jewish museum (Didn't go in cause dun wanna pay money and i don't think we can appreciate it)

Food: turkish pizza and bockwurst! bockwurst! bockwurst!.

At night we went to the Reichstag palace (cute and nice dome) and saw some make-shift stadium outside it... Hey!! it's the world cup man!!!!!

Oh speaking of world cup, right behind bradenburg Tor, there's a whole stretch of world cup carnival!!! with souveniers and food.. etc.. loud music.. woott!! Huge Huge screens at different sections . They even had a ferris wheel, bungee jumping thing for kids.. party house/bar.. a stretch of fake beach.. wah!!!!

We walked all the way to the end where there's this golden statue.. Called the Siegessäule. It's a victory column, to commemorate the Prussian victory in the Danish-Prussian war. Berliners, call the statue Goldelse, meaning something like "Golden Lizzy". There's also another nickname for her called "Chick on a Stick".



Bought 4 shirts and 1 scarf .. world cup stuff.. wah.. world cup world cup.. world cup man.. haha.. we reached back our hostel at like 12.30am.. =p
